Fredag kväll - en vecka har gått

Så har det snart gått en vecka till. Valparna äter nu bara valpkulor + köttfärs. Det är som att se ett gäng utsvultna vargar sluka ett nyfällt byte. Bäst i klassen vad det gäller ÄTA är förvisso Moltas. Han parkerar sig rakt över den största skålen och äter glupskt och morrar åt de andra syskonen. Så nu ger vi Moltas mat vid en egen matskål så att de andra har en chans.
Största grejen är väl annars att de nu börjar upptäcka varandra och omvärlden på ett helt annat sätt. De sover fortfarande större delen av dygnet men är vakna längre och längre stunder. Huvudsysselsättningarna (förutom att äta!) är att

1. Busa med varandra (tidigare var de inte lika sociala)

2. Utforska allt dom ser (vilket först innebär att dra ner nåt intressant på golvet och sedan undersöka fyndet med hjälp av munnen)

3. Kräva att vi gullar med dom.

4. Sedan tar vi ut dom på gräsmattan (som nu är snötäckt) några gånger per dag. Första gångerna var de lite försiktiga men nu har de snart utforskat hela gräsmattan. Igår var Mellis på ett riktigt äventyr när hon upptäckte "Getz Håla" uppe vid staketet. Det blev mycket nosande där innan hon hade utforskat färdigt.
Efter alla äventyr så är det SOVA som gäller!





Soon another week has gone by. The kids are now eating only pellets + raw meat. It is like see a flock of wolfs devouring a fresh prey. "Best in class" when it comes to eating is Moltas. He stands in the largest bowl and wolfs down most of it. Snarling at his littermates. So now he gets his food in his own bowl to let the others have a chance to eat.

The biggest change this week is that the puppies have started to explore each other and their surroundings more and more. They still sleep most of a 24-hour period. But in between they are awake for longer and longer periods. Their main occupations are:

1. To "fight" with each other (before they were not so social)

2. To explore all new things (They first pull down something interesting on the floor and then explore the discovery it with there mouths)

3. Demand that we cosy with them

4. Then we take them out on the lawn (which now is covered with snow) some times a day. The first times they were a bit careful but now they have discovered the whole lawn. Yesterday Mellis was on a real adventure when she discovered "Getz Cave" up at the fence. It was a lot of sniffing before she had explored the cave completely.
After all those adventures it is SLEEP that counts.
